If you are anything like me, music is a very special part of your life. As a result, you’ll no doubt want that to be reflected in the entertainment on your wedding day. Nothing compares to having your favourite songs played live, especially for you, on the most important day of your life.
I am a professional wedding pianist from the Midlands, UK. My specialism is performing beautiful instrumental arrangements of classic and contemporary tracks from pop and rock. If your venue doesn’t have its own piano, I can also provide a full live setup including a stunning white baby grand piano shell. In other words, you can enjoy the music you love, with great visuals to match!

Why James?
Choosing the right person to provide your wedding music can be a difficult decision. My goal is to create an unforgettable musical experience for brides and grooms, with an extensive repertoire of fantastic piano music, all backed up by a serious commitment to excellent communication and absolute reliability. My expertise is as a contemporary pop pianist. I’ll select popular tracks that you both love, and adapt them to fit perfectly into your wedding day. I’ll always aim to play your favourite songs in a way that feels fresh, meaningful, and thought-provoking. In other words, you can enjoy hearing them in a completely new light! For example, my repertoire includes timeless pianists like Billy Joel and Elton John, through to modern stars like Alicia Keys and Adele. Plus, I’m always happy to learn special requests, especially for key moments like your aisle walk.

I take pride in having strong local links in the Midlands. In particular, I have close ties with the counties of Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, and Herefordshire, as well as the Welsh borders, and can travel further on request.
I’ve been booked to play piano at numerous fantastic wedding venues across the region, many of which actively recommend me to their couples. These include The West Mill, Blackwell Grange, Stretton Manor Barn, Kelmarsh Hall, Hanbury Barns, Pendrell Hall, The Mill Barns, and more. I also have close relationships with many other established wedding suppliers in the Midlands.

White Baby Grand Piano
I’m delighted to offer my white Dutchgrand piano (pictured below) for venues or spaces that don’t have their own on-site. This is available for all of my wedding packages, at no extra cost! Even if your venue is lucky enough to have its own piano, this is a great option if you want me to play for another part of your day in a different room.
The piano is digital so has the benefits of portability, no requirement for tuning, and the ability to make it as loud or as quiet as needed on your day.
